I don't know about you but I love me some good BBQ. Now when I say barbeque I am not talking grilling with its quick sear of heat. I am talking about the long slow hours of cooking where gorgeous slabs of meat, lovingly massaged with spices, soak in the delicious aroma of smoke only to be finished off with a healthy slather of a sweet and spicy sauce. I have been searching the whole valley in search of amazing BBQ and have discovered that this delectable style of cooking is hugely varied with an amazing assortment of sauces, smokes, rubs, and meats.
I am now going to share with you my favorite place for your basic pulled pork, which for me is served as a sandwich. My establishment is Thee Pitts Again, located between 51st Ave. and 59th Ave. and Bell.
This place isn't just known for their fabulous barbeque but also for their fries, onion rings, and corn bread served with whipped honey butter.
This is how I like to start my meals. You might not be able to tell, but these onion rings are monstrous. They are generously coated and are nice and thick with some substantial onion to back up all that breading. I usually resort to cutting them with my fork and knife and then dipping in ranch.
This is the pulled pork and slaw sandwich served on the onion roll. I highly recommend trying the pork with the slaw. I too was skeptical of this combination but now prefer it this way. Notice the fries, they are amazing. I dip those in ranch too, something with the seasoning.
I suggest trying the place out. I doubt you will walk away disappointed.

Mmmmmm.... sounds very yummy. I <3 BBQ!
